Hi – I am a father to 2 boys and 1 girl, and husband to my long suffering wife, Lisa. I have an interest in all things practical and have spent my life acquiring skills that I can now put to use helping you in your home and garden.

I have earned a qualification in Environmental Conservation and have vast experience of working in gardens and public nature reserves, preserving habitats and designing and creating exciting landscapes.

I am also trained in household skills, including decorating, flooring, carpentry and some plumbing. I have renovated our own house from top to bottom, creating a warm and welcoming home for our family and an exciting garden for our children to play in, with space for Lisa and I to enjoy our (limited) free time.

Steve Roberts has recently joined the ranks of the Handy Husband and we both offer the same high standards of work. We are both trustworthy, hardworking individuals who respect your needs while offering expert advice when required. What We Offer

We offer a personal, friendly and trusted service to many clients across the region. Our skills range from interior and exterior decorating and all manner of household work, through to garden design and landscaping.

The first contact we receive from people is usually a phone call asking if we are able to carry out specific work. At this point we are happy to discuss your needs in a general sense and will then offer you a free estimate where we will come and look at the work and chat about it in greater detail.

We will then supply you with a written estimate, either by email or via a letter, outlining the work discussed and offering an estimated cost for the work. If this is agreeable we can then find suitable dates in the diary for the work to commence.

As we are involved throughout the whole process of estimating and completing the work, you can be assured that when we turn up on time on the first day we will be fully prepared for the work in hand. This said, we are flexible and are happy to discuss changes to the work as it is being carried out.
